US Patent No. 11,433,019 B2 (Jin Sup Shim, Eun Jung Lee, Nok Hyun Park, So Woong Choi, Yong Jin Kim); Amorepacific Corporation, Seoul, has patented a method for preparing a Ganoderma lucidum extract. The method entails extracting Ganoderma lucidum with an aqueous cyclodextrin solution to form a clathrate of a triterpenoid component of the Ganoderma lucidum and a cyclodextrin of the aqueous cyclodextrin solution. The Ganoderma lucidum extract contains triterpenoids of Ganoderma lucidum. The aqueous cyclodextrin solution contains the cyclodextrin in a concentration ranging from 0.01 to 30% by weight based on total volume of the aqueous cyclodextrin solution.
